BT TV packages are an affordable way to enjoy sports, catch up
TV and HD entertainment at home. There are two main packages to
choose from, BT TV Entertainment and BT TV
Essential, plus several flexible boosters you can add or
remove from month to month and customise your service with.

channels than standard Freeview, including the three
BT Sport channels, BT Sport1, BT Sport2 and ESPN
if you take TV Entertainment with superfast BT Infinity broadband.
Over 20 additional channels can be accessed
depending on your package, such as Comedy Central, National
Geographic, Fox and Discovery Channel.
The Catch up player lets you watch thousands of
TV shows and films whenever you want, with BBC iPlayer, ITV Player,
4OD, Demand 5 and NOWTV available (NOWTV subscription to be paid
separately). BT Vision Player has over 12,000
shows for you to enjoy, from blockbuster movies to top US TV shows,
with bolt ons available from just £3 a month.
Which BT TV packages are available?
BT TV Entertainment is available with superfast BT Infinity. It
gives you access to up to 70 Freeview TV and radio channels plus 20
extra channels, including Discovery and Comedy Central. The package
includes BT Infinity fibre optic broadband with speeds up to 5
times faster than the average UK standard broadband speed, and free
BT Sport which can be accessed online from the BT Sport website,
via Android or iOS app or through your YouView+ from BT set top
The YouView+ box lets you pause and record live TV, catch up on
your favourite shows and access On Demand content like TV box sets.
If you connect your set top box to a HD ready TV with a HDMI cable,
you can watch BBC, ITV and Channel 4 HD channels in high
BT TV Essential
BT TV Essential is available with standard BT broadband or BT
Infinity fibre optic broadband, and gives you access to up to 70
Freeview TV and radio channels, plus Catch-up TV including BBC
iPlayer. You can pause and rewind up to two live TV shows while
watching another, and use the YouView remote record app to record
an entire series or individual shows on your set top box, right
from your smartphone.
Extra BT TV services
7 day scrollback guide
The seven day Scrollback guide lets you access all your Catch-up
TV sevices from one easy interface, including BBC iPlayer, ITV on
demand, 4oD and Demand 5.
You can purchase an extra BT TV box for use in a second room by
ordering an Extra Box for a one-off fee and a £5 monthly fee. You
can pause and record on your Extra Box so there's no need to miss
any of your favourite shows.
YouView remote record app
Set your favourite shows to record on your BT TV set top box
while you're out and about by using your smartphone. Download the
free remote app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and you
can also use it to find out whats on for the next seven days - so
you can scroll forward to the show you want to record.
Channel bolt ons
From just £3/month you can bolt on a variety of extra channels
to suit your family's needs, including HD Extra, Kids Extra with
Disney, Boomerang and Cartoon Network, or Sky Movies.
