Announced today, Virgin Media has been named 2013 winner of
'Best Superfast Broadband Provider' and 'Best Premium TV, Broadband
& Home Phone' in the Simplifydigital Customer Choice Awards,
which recognise the best UK digital services based on customer
Simplifydigital, an Ofcom-accredited switching service for
digital TV, home phone and broadband, used a comprehensive survey
to obtain insight into the satisfaction of over 900 customers who
had switched to a new provider within the last 12 months using its
free, independent telephone switching service.
78% of surveyed Virgin Media customers said their speeds were
either "good" or "very good". Its premium broadband, digital TV and
home phone deals offer unlimited downloads, HD channels and Catch
Up TV services.

Using a standardised email survey with both tick-boxes and free
text feedback areas, Simplifydigital's Data Team obtained genuine
insight into customers' real experiences before, during and after
installation. They found that over 86% of respondents were
generally satisfied with their provider, while 90% were satisfied
with their broadband speeds.
