Plusnet wins ‘Best Value Broadband Provider’ in 2013 Simplifydigital Customer Choice Awards

More respondents had switched to Plusnet through Simplifydigital than to any other provider, with 90% generally satisfied and over 80% feeling that the service offered "good" or "very good" value for money.

Plusnet wins ‘Best Value Broadband Provider’ in 2013 Simplifydigital Customer Choice Awards

Announced today, Plusnet has been named 2013 winner of 'Best Value Broadband Provider' in the Simplifydigital Customer Choice Awards, which recognise the best UK digital services based on customer feedback. 

Simplifydigital, an Ofcom-accredited switching service for digital TV, home phone and broadband, used a comprehensive survey to obtain insight into the satisfaction of over 900 customers who had switched to a new provider within the last 12 months using its free, independent telephone switching service.


Charlie Ponsonby, CEO of Simplifydigital, commented on Plusnet winning Best Value Broadband Provider in the third annual Customer Choice Awards:

About the awards

Using a standardised email survey with both tick-boxes and free text feedback areas, Simplifydigital's Data Team obtained genuine insight into customers' real experiences before, during and after installation.  They found that, on average, over 86% of respondents were generally satisfied with their provider, while 90% were satisfied with their broadband speeds.
