YouTube arrives on the NOW TV Box

The NOW TV Box already offers access to every terrestrial catch-up TV service, including BBC iPlayer and 4oD, as well as a number of great apps such as Facebook and Flickr. Customers can now add YouTube to the smart little box, giving them a new way to watch all their subscribed channels, plus millions of other videos, directly through their television.

The app is the most recent addition to the NOW TV Box's app store, which also includes Sky News, BBC Sport and TED Talks available to download at no extra cost. Users can start enjoying these apps right away, without the need to pay any form of subscription fee or monthly contract.

Gidon Katz, Director of NOW TV, said:

The NOW TV Box offers a huge range of entertainment options to be enjoyed on your own big screen. The addition of YouTube means there's even more to discover and experience.  With the flexibility to dip in and out of great movies, entertainment or sport with the relevant pass from NOW TV, catch-up TV and now videos from your favourite YouTube channels, it'll be hard to find an excuse to leave the sofa.

NOW TV's range of passes offer instant access to some of the biggest programmes, movies and live sport available across Sky's biggest channels. Customers simply sign up for the pass that offers the content they want to watch, when they want to watch it.
