TalkTalk TV adds four more streaming channels

Four channels from the A&E network will be available to TalkTalk TV subscribers from August 28th. Customers signing up for the Entertainment TV Boost will soon have access to the History and Lifetime channels, while those signing up for the Entertainment Extra Boost will also receive access to H2 plus Crime + Investigation.

The channels will be the first place to catch a number of new shows. These include the second series of The Witches of East End on Lifetime, a new series of Pawn Stars UK on History and a new series of Crimes That Shook Britain on Crime + Investigation. Content from the channels will also be available via TalkTalk's catch-up TV service, with an on demand library of box sets expected to arrive later in 2014.

As with all TalkTalk's Boosts, there is no ongoing subscription. Simply choose that boosts that contains your preferred channels, and you'll be given a simple monthly rolling contract that can be cancelled at any time. Those without a subscription will still be able to try out the new channels, as TalkTalk will be streaming them free in an open weekend over the 30th and 31st August.

Bakori Davies, VP of commercial operations at A&E Networks UK, said:

We are very pleased to announce this partnership, which offers a significant opportunity for us to expand the reach of our leading factual and entertainment channels across the UK and Ireland. We're confident that the exciting content across our portfolio will really appeal to TalkTalk's customers.
