BT Sport adds Ian Wright and Robbie Savage to the team

Arsenal legend Ian Wright will be joining BT's panel of analysts for its live coverage of the Barclays Premier league and the FA cup this year, as well as a range of other football programming. Robbie Savage, the former Wales international and Leicester City FC midfielder, will also be joining the team and will co-host a brand new Saturday morning show alongside presenter, Darren Fletcher.

The new show, "Matchday Live with Fletch & Sav" will be broadcast every Saturday at 10am, ahead of the live Premier League fixture. Every week Fletcher and Savage will be presenting live from the grounds of the home team, and cover the biggest stories of the day, including the build up to the days games across the UK and Europe.

Grant Best, senior channel executive producer at BT Sport, said:

Ian and Robbie have proved themselves to be hugely popular pundits with football fans across the country and we are delighted to add them to our growing team of analysts. Matchday Live with Fletch & Sav is the perfect build-up to the football weekend hosted by true football fans and special guests, features and the entertaining chemistry and unpredictability you'd expect from the pair.

BT Sport's range of channels are still completely free for BT broadband customers, and hold the exclusive rights to the first few games involving current champions Manchester City. The network also recently signed a deal for up to four exclusive live matches a week from the Portuguese Primeira Liga, meaning the channels now cover a total of 6 European Leagues.
