BT has decided to bring more competition into the digital TV
and sports broadcasting sectors with its recent buyout of
ESPN.

Superfast broadband is coming to Wargrave in time for
Christmas.
BT is providing the Berkshire village as one of
many that will benefit from an upgrade to its copper network.
The download speed will be up to 20 megabits per second, more
than double the speeds it had before.

Yesterday BT confirmed that there was a
nationwide network problem on one of the busiest
days for online retail.
The telecom giant posted on its Twitter feed the following
message:
