Sky Broadband seals C4 film deal

By Chris on July 26, 2010 2:14 PM
Broadband, home phone and digital TV supplier Sky has agreed to sponsor films being shown on the Channel 4 network.
The contract, for 12 months, covers peak-time broadcast of films on Channel 4, E4, More4 and early evening films being broadcast every day on Film4. The deal also covers screenings on the corresponding "+1" and HD channels.
Sky will promote the sponsorship deal through its Broadband Happily Ever After advertising campaign. Robert Tansey, a marketing director at BSkyB, said the new contract is the correct method for helping its customers get the best out of its services.
More than 2.5 million people are reportedly using the Sky Broadband package, and most of whom use all three services: Sky TV, Sky Broadband and Sky Talk.
