Instead of spending hours on the phone trying to reach the right customer service department, you can find out if there are any errors, faults or scheduled maintenance at your address simply by using Virgin Media's Service Status Checker tool.

How does Virgin Media's Service Status Checker work?

When you access the tool, you will be asked to type in your Virgin Media email or account number, or if you forgot the details of the two, you can simply type in your postcode.

It will then redirect you to a page with the information about the services. For instance, if there is something wrong with your broadband connection, Virgin Media will tell you more about the fault, what time was it spotted and whether the provider has addressed the issue. It will even tell you if the maintenance guys are on their way, when are they going to be on site and the estimated time when the bug will be fixed.

What happens if I encounter an error and there is no information about it on the Service Status Checker tool?

Virgin Media then gives you an option to report it. For example, if you see that your home phone service has too much noise in the background, you can simply click on this option on the menu and Virgin Media will tell you what exactly should be done.
