Good news comes to the residents of north and North East
Lincolnshire, especially to those who live in the area's
"notspots" as Quickline Communications
pledged to rollout superfast broadband. We're talking speeds of
up to 40Mbps.
The wireless operator has underlined that it can already deliver
coverage of 85 per cent, however it will stop at nothing in order
to provide a connection to all 100 per cent, including isolated
"really hard to get to valleys".
The services will see customers spending £195.00 for set
up which is understandable, seeing as an engineer will
have to climb onto a rooftop to set up Quickline's
device. Other than that, the packages start at £27.50 for a
symmetric connection of 10Mbps.
More details as follows:
• Unlimited download limit
• Local support
• No phone line required
• Works in rural areas
• Free WIFI router
• Managed router service
Households in Grimsby, Laceby as well as
Cleethorpes are set to be the first ones to
benefit.
Gaynor Lawn, Director of Quickline
Communications, said:
"The new mast at Caistor marks a significant milestone for
Quickline as the final, easy to reach part of the Humber
region.
"Business parks that had, until now, been subjected to a
poor quality connection (particularly in rural areas) can now enjoy
Broadband that is up to 20 times faster than what they're used to.
We know this has a positive impact on how a business operates
day-to-day."
