Business ISP, Fluidata, had announced the
launch of its new line bonding service. The time has come to bond
fibre.
The PureFluid PULSE service is to bond two or three
FTTC-based lines capable of up to 80Mbps which
would deliver downloads of up to 200Mbps along
with 60Mbps uploads.
If the network was to crash, Fluidata offers a plan B, which
includes a DSL line or 3G connection. These can be used temporarily
until the network is back on track.
In a statement supporting the news, the Managing Director of
Fluidata, Piers Daniell, said:
"PureFluid PULSE offers as good as or even better speeds
than fibre, and a high service level guarantee. Businesses can get
the superfast speeds and reliability associated with a leased line,
for the cost of a DSL connection."
At the moment pricing has not been revealed, but it is clear
that the services are for businesses rather than households. Prices
will no doubt reflect this.
The package also comes with static IPv4 + IPv6 addresses as well
as service uptime monitoring.
