Good news comes to businesses which want to pay nothing for
broadband, as mobile operator and fixed-line broadband provider,
O2, has decided to start providing its internet
and landline services for free for the first six months.
Wittily called, The Flying Start, the promotion is
targeted at companies which employ 1-2000 members of staff.
In addition, those who have an existing mobile voice contract
can grab a six months free landline offer (after that period it
will cost £11.50) and those who are yet to be O2 customers will be
eligible for three months of free services (£14.50 thereafter).
Claire Darley, Head of Small Business Sales at O2, said in a
statement:
"For small businesses that's staff, suppliers and customers.
By boosting their communications and helping to provide genuine
savings we want to take a little pressure off.
"By providing free access to fixed line and broadband, we're
hoping to help British business and go some way towards lowering
their costs this year, whilst giving them the opportunity to
explore new tools and services that provide them with support and
advice."
