A Finnish anti-piracy group has received a bomb threat
message recently.
The whole world started giving hacktivist group,
Anonymous, accusation looks.
The hackers, however, fired back saying that they had
nothing to do with the terrorising message through their
Twitter account.
The anti-piracy group has fallen under the web-villains' radar
shortly after its victorious activism which resulted in a block of
The Pirate Bay in Finland.
As a quick reminder, a court in Holland too has ordered two ISPs
to start banning the notorious alleged copyright infringement
facilitating website.
The reports stated that The Copyright, Information and
Anti-Piracy Centre (CIAPC) in Finland has received a
serious bomb threat and was forced to take the matter to the
authorities.
Meanwhile, Anonymous did not sit pretty and instead it urged its
followers to take online action, saying:
"Anonymous encouraged followers to target the Copyright
Information and Anti-Piracy Centre after it persuaded the Helsinki
District Court to force ISP Elisa to block access to the
file-sharing site."
There have been no clues as yet as to who was the author of the
serious threat to the anti-piracy organisation.
The CIAPC has not commented on the story.
