Fancy saving money on line rental? Who doesn't
these days, we know.
TalkTalk has started providing such an option
by giving customers an opportunity to pay their line rental charge
up front for a year which would effectively cut the cost from
£13.80 a month to £9.50, which can prove to be a
significant saving.
This means that customers who wish to take out the internet
service provider's broadband essentials package (which includes a
40GB usage cap, unlimited evening and weekend calls to UK landlines
as well as a free connection) will be paying £5 a month for the
whole deal and £9.50 for their phone which will equal to a monthly
fee of £14.50.
Customers, who are not interested in paying up front, are not
forced to do so. But if one was to compare the yearly costs, the
difference is £174 (when paid up front) and £225.60 (when paid
monthly). The choice is yours.
