TalkTalk announced today that it was launching a fresh 200
mobile minute boost, an ad-on which would cost customers under a
fiver a month - £4.99 to be exact.
The company plans to be the first one to introduce this service
- clients will be able to make calls to UK mobiles from their home
phones for roughly 2.5 pence per minute, which is less than Ofcom
proposed earlier today.
In addition, TalkTalk had a similar option in power ever since
October, where customers could use up 100 mobile minutes for an
additional £2.99, which the company has estimated saved them more
or less £12 on a monthly basis.
Nevertheless, now customers who plan to take up TalkTalk's
newest add-on will be able to save as much as roughly £20 a month
and not to think about any additional costs when calling mobiles
through their home phones.
Also, there are no limits as to when the minutes could be used -
day, night, weekends or weekdays.
In addition, customers will always be able to check the
remainder of their mobile minutes allowance via TalkTalk's
website.
