After the first versions of Google TV have disappointed many
customers, Google has its mind set on impressing clients with
updated products as the company took more time to review its
software.
The earlier-mentioned software was the main drawback of Google
TV, consumers thought it was too complicated and something they
weren't used to using.
However, at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas
which is to take place next month, brands such as Sony, Vizio and
Samsung are in line to showcase their additions to the Google
brand.
The Financial Times reported Google as saying:
"We are very happy with the launch of Google TV with our
initial partners.
"Our long-term goal is to collaborate with a broad community
of consumer electronics manufacturers to help drive the next
generation TV watching experience."
Google decided not to mention any other manufacturer names but
what the company did say was that it was keen on "working with
other partners to bring more devices to the market in the coming
years".
An improvement is expected, as consumers have experienced
difficulty with using the web via Google TV.
Also another criticism is that both Sony and Logitech versions
of Google TV required keyboards as remotes while the Apple TV box
remote control had only three buttons, which made it much more
user-friendly.
