The UK's top mobile
broadband providers have been given the green light to improve
the 'in-band power limit' by the industry regulator Ofcom.
In 'lamens terms' the likes of Vodafone, O2, Orange,
T-Mobile and 3 have been given
a license to improve their network in order to boost voice capacity
and mobile broadband signal.
It's important to point out that Ofcom's decision does not
affect all future 3G and 4G allocations, such as for 900MHz and
1800MHz, which will be subject to separate considerations.
