The Digital Switchover Help Scheme has announced this week that they've installed digital TV equipment for over 350,000 UK households.

The scheme is backed by the BBC and helps the elderly and disabled get ready for the Digital Switchover, which is due to finish in 2012.

Most of the UK is now completely 'digital' which means anyone living in a digital area will need a digital set top box in order to receive a TV signal.

Digital TV providers such as Freeview, Freesat, Sky, Virgin Media and BT offer these set-top boxes as part of their service. If your area is about to go digital and you don't have a digital TV solution you can compare deals with Simplifydigital.

Our London based experts are here 7 days a week and can help you find the perfect digital TV deal in a matter of minutes. You can call them free on 0800 083 0265. Alternatively, you can compare digital TV deals online.
