TalkTalk has officially put pen to paper today and signed a mobile deal with mobile broadband and mobile phone provider Vodafone.

As reported last week by Simplifydigital, TalkTalk are keen to enter the mobile phone market with the help of one of the biggest providers in the world.

TalkTalk chairman Charles Dunstone says that he isn't worried about the impact of this on the company. Their positioning and pricing makes them very appealing to people that are nervous about heir expenditure or are cutting back, he said. Out of all the businesses he can think of, he added, they feel well insulated from the effects that may be seen if there is a double dip or whatever comes their way.
