Digital TV brings with it the opportunity to watch stacks of
sport, but choosing the right sports TV package can be
difficult.
Sky has long been the dominant force in sports digital TV and it
continues to have millions of avid sports fans signed up to Sky
Sports and ESPN.
A few years ago, Setanta managed to successfully bid for the
rights to a number Premiership matches. The Setanta business
failed in 2009, however, as it could not attract the huge
numbers of subscribers that are signed up with Sky Sports.
ESPN have since taken up the remaining Premier League matches
and is available on Sky, Virgin Media and BT.
Virgin Media customers can also get Sky Sports, which can
sometimes be the cheapest way to get the sports you want.
