Freeview, Freesat and Freesat from Sky are the three free
digital TV offerings in the UK, and all offer a range of channels
over the 5 terrestrial channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4, and
Five).
Freeview

If you have a new TV, it's probably already equipped with a
digital tuner that can receive Freeview channels.
If it's an older model, you can easily upgrade it with a set-top
box.
Just take it out of the packaging and plug it in. It couldn't be
simpler. Prices start at around £20.
Freesat

Freesat is a digital satellite TV service from the BBC and
ITV.
It covers 98 per cent of the country and offers over 140 TV and
radio channels for a one-off subscription fee.
It's the only way to get High Definition TV for free, but
doesn't provide premium channels - which is common with all free TV
packages.
Freesat from Sky

Freesat from Sky gives you 240 digital channels including BBC
and ITV favourites.
