Digital services

The main digital services are digital TV, broadband and home phone. Lots of companies offer one, two or all of these services. If they offer two or more together, this is called a digital package or bundle. It's Simplifydigital's job to find out which digital providers supply the service or package that suits you.

Digital TV

Digital TV is simply a different way of transmitting pictures and sound to your home. You'll find a more detailed explanation of this in our Digital TV explained section, but in a nutshell, you can choose from free digital TV services (such as Freeview and Freesat) or pay digital TV services from companies like Sky, Virgin Media, and most recently, BT. Broadband

Broadband is a faster way of connecting to the internet, which has almost completely replaced the 'old' dial-up system. As a digital service, it is supplied by various broadband providers, including Orange and TalkTalk. Find out more about broadband.

Home Phone
