Digital TV – How to find a package that suits you

Digital TV is becoming more and more popular. Sky, Virgin Media, BT, Top Up TV, Freesat... there’s never been more choice of packages and providers. And more choice means better competition and cheaper prices. With a little bit of careful shopping you can now find your perfect package at a price that suits you.

Imagine coming home from work every day to find your favourite shows ready to watch, or the latest films, or your favourite team. All of sudden the prospect of dodgy soaps and Dad’s Army loses its appeal... Don’t panic! Digital TV can deliver a whole new experience.

I’m tempted. What kind of channels are there for, say, sports fans?

The gold standard in digital TV sports is the Sky Sports package. All five Sky Sports channels deliver you almost every major sporting event there is – from Premier League football, rugby, golf and Formula One racing to the NFL Superbowl and skiing. Not enough for you? Upgrade to Sky Sports HD and follow every kick, catch, corner and jump in amazing clarity.

Movie buffs?

The choice here is positively overwhelming... Film 4 comes as standard with every package, showing a great selection of new and classic movies, but if you take your movies seriously, you’re going to want to get a digital TV service like Virgin Media On Demand. Choose from 1000’s of catalogued movies and watch them whenever you want. No scheduling issues. No need to set a timer. Just sit down, find the movie you want to watch and BOOM, you’ll be immersed in your latest thriller faster than you can say “Liam Neilson is the same age as my granddad. Why does he keep doing action movies?”

So how do I choose?

With so many providers and price plans, making the right choice it can be a bit overwhelming, but you want to make sure that you get a digital TV package that suits your lifestyle and your viewing habits.

Luckily for you, we’re here to make things as simple as possible. SimplifyDigital is an independent service, which uses Ofcom-approved tools to help you find a television package that suits YOU.

There are a couple of ways to use our service.

Use our Ofcom approved calculator

Simply enter your postcode into the form above, make sure you tick Digital TV (as well as home phone and broadband if you want to get a bundle) and then simply click search.

We’ll find all the available deals and packages in your area and clearly detail all the most important facts – namely cost, contract length and channels you can get. We even link straight through to the relevant page on the provider’s site so you can easily find and further information you require.

Give our independent experts a call

If that all seems like too much work, just give our trained team a call. Our independent experts will take you through your options and recommend a digital TV package that suits your needs and budget. If you want to go ahead, our team can even sign you up to the deal you want. It doesn’t get much simpler than that.

Isn’t it time you started watching TV you actually enjoyed? Why not see what deals are available in your area right now, or just give us a ring.
